most honorable sir i hope you will forgive me for writing to you, but my mind is in such a state of confusion an utter state of worry. I live in this town not to far from the city of lorien, in the land that used to be called trance vision. there are many people here but very few like myself know what is happening and what it means. because the world seems covered with unholy darkness, no one knows what awaits us on the other side-a great storm or peace and enlightenment. I am so sorry if i have caused you any grief or trouble, for this must be all my fault-i was confused when i wrote this letter. for i am not the only one who has seen these changes. many others have noticed them, all here in trance vision. i myself was taken by surprise when i visited the pottery shop the other day. for there was a man standing at the window, looking out on to the street, and he had his back towards me. he had gray hair and was very tall, but i did not recognize him at all. and then suddenly i saw that his cloak which was made of green stuff and it had a silver brooch upon it. and even as the thought came into my head that this was some strange hobbit who did not dress like any i had seen before, he suddenly got up and went away down the street. many others have seen him too, but they do not seem to be afraid of him. perhaps they do not understand what they have seen, but i am afraid. for if so many strange hobbits are appearing who wear cloaks with silver brooches in them, can it be possible that the lord of the rings is in trance vision again?. i pray to elbereth that it is not so, and that this is all just a strange coincidence. i hope to see you again soon, and please do not take any notice of this letter as i am sure it has nothing to do with the real problem at hand. Yours faithfully,User reviews Rating:8% based on 28 reviews.Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reports that 46% of critics have given the film a positive review based on 60 reviews with an average rating of 5.4 out of 10. In a review for "The New York Times", Stephen Holden wrote, ""Hobbit" looks good, moves briskly and feels like a straightforward, cost-effective piece of effect-laden fantasy. Yet the movie's breeziness is one of its greatest dangers". Holden also said that "the movie is designed to be enjoyed against the background roar of the theater's hydra-headed sound system", and he noted, "Mr. Jackson seems to have a soft spot for a special kind of fairy tale that involves pathos and tragedy". In his review in "The Boston Globe", Ty Burr also said that ""Hobbit" takes itself far less seriously than Mr. Jackson should [...] the film should leave the audience wanting more. cfa1e77820
